Henry Nowak – a victim of woke policing

At first glance, the tragic death of Henry Nowak in Southampton appears to be a result of woke antiracism training in the police force. On careful examination, it turns out to be a result of woke antiracism training in the police force.

On the night of 3rd December 2025, the police were called to the Portswood suburb of Southampton. They arrived to find a Sikh man standing up, and Henry lying on the ground. He told them he had been stabbed. One of the cops said the words which will define this turning point in English history:

“Don’t think you have, mate.”

The police dragged Henry across the gravel, handcuffed him, and let him bleed to death.

The Sikh and his brother had told the police Henry had racially abused them. Clearly, the police are trained to prioritise ‘racism’ over everything else.

While he was being murdered, Nowak shouted “I can’t breathe” several times. This is reminiscent of the police murder of George Floyd on 25th May 2020 in Minneapolis. But whereas UK politicians, the media, football clubs, etc. responded to this murder, in another country, by indulging in token gestures of antiracism, despite the complete lack of evidence of racism, in this case, it was left to the general public to seek justice for Henry. Protests against the police turned violent.

The Macpherson report of 1993 was a response to the case of Stephen Lawrence, a black youth murdered by racists. Driven by Critical Race Theory, it led to https://publications.parliament.uk/…/cmhaff/139/13906.htm which defined a racist incident as “any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person”. Another consequence was the abolition of the proscription against double jeopardy. The victims of this ‘antiracist’ hysteria include

1. The victims of Pakistani grooming gangs. Jane Senior’s book Broken and Betrayed, 2016, describes a white man telling the police a gang was “grooming” his 14-year-old daughter. They ignored him, until he shouted a racist word at the men’s house. Then the police quickly appeared, and found the girl getting out of bed with a man, but they did not arrest him — instead, they charged father and daughter with disorderly behaviour. They prioritised concern about racist language over tackling child-rape.

2. The victims of the 2027 Manchester Arena bombing, which killed 22 and injured 1017 – a security guard failed to approach a suspicious character for fear of being considered ‘racist’:

3. In the Nowak case, they, in effect, prioritised concern about racist language over tackling murder.

Note that the Jewish concept ‘antiracism’ is not just a threat to ‘right wing’ or white people. It is repurposed as ‘anti-anti-Semitism’ to criminalise Palestinians and their supporters.
